ES Processing was born of a passion for innovation
and deep experience in cement manufacturing

ES Processing founder Fayez Boughosn began his career as an Automation & Process Control Engineer for Holcim, then the world’s largest cement group. There, he worked with Siemens to develop one of the most advanced cement production lines of the time. Moving on to their solution partner Siemens, he led numerous challenging process control projects worldwide.

Believing he could use his experience to transform manufacturing process control for the cement industry, Fayez founded ES Processing in 2007. Since that time, ES Processing has delivered hundreds of distributed control systems (DCS) worldwide for cement manufacturers, and was named by Siemens Germany as “The Cement Industry Specialist.” In addition, we have delivered major process and/or logistical control solutions for utility and transportation companies.

Our latest breakthrough innovation – the Cement Mill Optimizer (CMO) – represents a quantum leap forward for cement manufacturers worldwide. Combining Advanced Process Control, Machine Learning and MPC technologies, it provides an unprecedented degree of Advanced process control to significantly increase product quality and production volume and efficiency while decreasing costs.

Eric Farris

Co-Founder &
Project Manager

When Fayez founded ES Processing Eric was the first to join as Co-Founder and Electrical and DCS projects manager. Today Eric is handling the most challenging technical tasks within ES Processing.

Eric Started his career as Project Manager with Air Liquide, then moved to Siemens where he worked with Fayez on what was the biggest European Automation project ever undertaken – the Charles De Gaulle Airport Baggage Handling System. The airport had been struggling to stabilize the control system for its baggage tracking – a challenge given that the system was composed of more than 140 PLCs. Working together, Fayez and Eric led the redevelopment of the core system to provide a solution that was widely to be the most efficient and reliable control system of its time.
