15 Jul Alstom Transport France – Alger Tramway, Algeria (2008): Engineering and Design of the “Traction Power Substations” Automation System

ES PROCESSING conducted the study, design and engineering of the entire system, including Automation PLC/HMI, Emergency tripping system, Interlock/Intertrip system, Calculation sheets.

The project consisted of engineering and designing of the automation system of the traction power substations of the Alger Tramway. The Alger line comprises 11 traction power substations, including “Depot”. The system was designed to ensure control over all traction power substations of the Alger network.

The automation substations are equipped with PLCs (Schneider Premium) and Remote rack I/O (STB) on each board.
