20 Apr Saman Cement – Iraq (2024): AI/APC Cement Mill Optimizer (CMO)

This project consisted of the implementation of our cutting-edge Advanced Process Control Solutions for the Cement Mill “C”, at Saman Cement based in Al-Muthanna governance – Iraq.

Under the scope of this project, ES PROCESSING Performed the development and engineering of 2 Soft Sensors for Blaine and Residue, in addition to the Model Predictive Control allowing a FULLY AUTOPILOT of the Cement Mill Process.

The below remarkable Enhancements were recorded during the performance phase of the project:

• Increasing the Production of over 10%
• Improving Cement Quality by drastically reducing the STDV of the Blaine by more than 50%.
• Reducing Specific Power Consumption of Cement Grinding (Kwh/tcm)
• Running the Mill C in full autopilot mode continuously
